If you were at church last Sunday your family should have received a GAYT box and stories of Hope booklet for the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC). If you weren’t at church or if you didn’t receive your copies, please speak with Betty Gilson to get the materials.

For the next few weeks, please think and talk about the work of the UUSC especially when you sit down to a meal with your family. Whenever possible, collect coins at mealtime to set aside for this work. During the worship service on January 7 we will gather the donations. Please convert the coins (and bills) into a check made out to First Parish with GAYT in the memo line. Gifts of $125 or more are eligible to be matched dollar for dollar by the UU Congregation at Shelter Rock.

UUSC’s grassroots partners make a big difference in their communities, and so does your participation in GAYT. That is why this year’s program theme is Small Change is Big Change.
