Talking about death is not easy. Planning for it is even more challenging. Yet, when we summon the courage to explore and articulate our wishes for our end-of-life care, we connect more deeply to what we cherish most about life. We’re also able to approach its inevitable end with dignity and empowerment.
Please join Rev. Jennifer and Eileen Hiney for a two-session workshop introducing the Five Wishes approach to planning for care at the end of life or during a serious health crisis. Five Wishes is unique in its emphasis on the spiritual, emotional, and relational aspects of care, as well as medical. A completed Five Wishes booklet is a legal document, recognized in 46 states including Massachusetts.
During our time together, we will create a supportive space to explore our own wishes, and to share questions, concerns, and goals. By the end of Session 2, you will have all you need to finalize your own Five Wishes advance directive. Please plan to attend both sessions.
