The First Parish Social Justice Committee and the Bridgewater Citizens for Civility and Respect will host the first in the second series of Black Lives Matter films. We will be presenting Race, based on the incredible true story of Jesse Owens, the legendary athletic superstar. His quest to become the greatest track and field athlete in history thrusts him onto the world stage of the1938 Olympics. Here he faces off against Adolph Hitler’s version of Aryan supremacy. All are welcome to join us for this free presentation and the discussion to follow.
