Service by Rev. Paul Sprecher and our Peace Committee

Sunday will be our Annual Peace Celebration at First Parish in conjunction with the United Nations International Day of Peace. Please join in the activities as we focus on the search for peace in our hearts and in the wider world.  Here is the list of the day’s events.
9:45 am Rededication of our Peace Pole on the front lawn with our Peace Dove.  Readings by Betty Gilson and music with Tony Winters.
10:00 – 10:30 am Gathering music by our special guitarist Peter Jansen
10:30 – 11:30 am Morning Worship led by Rev. Paul Sprecher on the theme “Finding Peace in a Warring World”;  Anthem by the choir and special thoughts from Janet Dye, Rev. Rachel Tedesco and Bobbe Anderson about their actions for peace
11:45 am Closing Ceremony at the Peace Pole with readings by Jack Hart and music with Tony Winters
6:30 pm Vespers at First Parish with members of First Church of W. Bridgewater, our “Mother Church”
