First Parish Players Present: “Fireflies”

The First Parish Players, a brand new theater company made up of members of First Parish Bridgewater, proudly present their debut performance, “Fireflies,” a musical written by Tony Winters and McKayla Hoffman, set to a pop soundtrack from the 60s to today.

“Fireflies” is the story of a brother and sister who cannot seem to understand each other. But when the brother, Atlas, realizes that some pieces of his memory are missing, and his sister Amelie begins acting strangely, another side to the story begins to reveal itself. As told by Dr. Delfina “Finnie” Robinson, “Fireflies” reveals the mysteries of Atlas’ past and tells a story of hope through friendship, the struggle between light and darkness, and the way in which memory can be our friend or our enemy.
