The public is invited to a free event, a film and lecture on the struggle for LGBT rights in Uganda, one of the most homophobic and repressive countries in Africa. Come to hear Rev. Mark Kiyimba, a Unitarian Universalist Minister and activist for LGBT rights in Uganda on
Saturday, 21 in Bridgewater. This event will be in the Upper Parish Hall of the First Parish UU Church in Bridgewater.

Rev. Kiyimba’s website, New Life Uganda, describes his projects in Uganda, including: the New Life Primary School in Kkindu; the New Life Children Home for children who have AIDS, are HIV Positive, or who have lost their parents due to AIDS; the New Life Unitarian Church in Kamapala,
and the New Life Fellowship in Masaka.

Rev. Kiyimba was the recipient of the NEA’s 2012 Virginia Uribe Award for Creative Leadership in Human Rights.
