Worship with Rev. Jennifer Johnson – “Ministry in the Year Ahead: A Question Box Service”

Rev. Jennifer will return to worship on Sunday, August 20 for an informal and interactive service during which we’ll explore what’s in store for the year ahead. This will be a time to reconnect after Rev. Jennifer’s summer leave and to consider together our aspirations/hopes/concerns/challenges for our shared ministry in the coming year.

The morning message will take the form of a Question Box session. This is an opportunity to ask your “burning” questions while Rev. Jennifer’s on the “hot seat.”  Of course, it’s not a free-for-all. To make the service meaningful, please focus your questions to help us prepare for the coming church year. Suggested topics include:

  • The wider Unitarian Universalist movement
  • Inspiration and insights from summer study leave
  • Aspirations and opportunities for ministry in the year to come
  • Concerns and challenges for ministry in the year to come
  • Intersection of ministry and world events
  • New developments in worship and faith formation
