Worship with the Green Sanctuary Committee on Sunday, April 14th at 10:30am, “Nurturing through Nature: A Look into a Nature-Based Early Childhood Setting”

Our 7th principle calls us to “respect the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part”. It encompasses environmental justice projects like First Parish’s own Kids to Camp, now in its 15th year.

Please join the Green Sanctuary Team and Sarah Gilbert, a teacher at Fern Brook Nature School in Middleboro, for an exploration of the benefits of a nature-based education on young children’s social-emotional health, physical wellness, academic learning, and all-around well-being. Programs like Fern Brook School and Sheep Pasture Nature Camp nurture the development of a reverence and respect for nature and a commitment to care for the Earth.

This is a hybrid worship service. Please join us in the sanctuary or by ZOOM: https://uuma.zoom.us/j/8261399470
