“The arc of history is long, but it bends toward justice,” words spoken
by Theodore Parker, the Unitarian abolitionist minister in 1853, were
later adapted by Martin Luther King Jr. when he declared that “the arc
of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” How can
we, as people of progressive faith, work to help bend that arc?
