While innovative technological inventions have improved the lives of millions of people across the globe, they also increasingly have distanced humankind from the fundamental processes of nature. This service focuses on re-entering the space of nature to mitigate climate change events. This is also our Kids to Camp kick-off, with the total collection plate benefiting our environmental justice initiative which sends deserving children to Sheep Pasture Nature Camp in Easton.

About Dr. Nancy Lee Wood: Dr. Wood is Professor of Sociology at Bristol community College, Director of the Institute for Sustainability and Post-carbon Education, and Coordinator of the Sustainability Studies Programs – Degree and Certificate.
